Shock Absorber

The role of shock absorbers is to keep each of your four tyres in constant contact with the road. When you drive over a bump, the car’s springs are compressed, to enable control of the vehicle. Shock absorbers act as a dampener, to stop this bouncing movement and ease the various changes to the road condition. In a vehicle, shock absorbers reduce the effect of travelling over rough ground, leading to improved ride quality and increase in comfort. Shock absorbers use oil and gasses to absorb excess energy from the springs. We stock a wide range of Shock Absorbers to fit most cars and light commercial vehicles, so when your shock absorbers fail we can quickly get you back on the road.
