Check your Brakes

Modern braking systems consist of front and rear brake pads in conjunction with brake discs to convert the kinetic energy by friction and slow the car. In disc brake applications, there are usually two brake pads per brake disc held in place and actuated by a caliper affixed to a wheel hub or suspension upright. When the brakes are hydraulically applied, the caliper clamps or squeezes the two pads together into the spinning disc to slow/stop the vehicle. Sometimes a loud noise or high pitched squeal occurs when the brakes are applied. Most brake squeal is produced by vibration of the brake components, if this occurs our quick examination can provide the solution. We stock the highest quality brake pads and discs expertly fitted by our staff to quickly get you back on the road
